Activities like visit to farm and soil study were conducted which provided hands-on experience to the students. Collaborative work with schools in Jordan and Lebanon expanded knowledge of the students.
The students exchanged recipes with their partner school and enhanced their culinary skills by preparing dishes of both the countries. The students conducted survey on various deficiency diseases and the steps being taken by the government to eradicate the problems. The visit to Mother Dairy helped the students to collect data about milk production. A comparative study on Mother Dairy and Muller Dairy of United Kingdom was also taken up.
The activities provided in-depth knowledge to the students about agricultural practices and nutritional and therapeutic value of food.
